From the Beltway

Take Exit 41 from 495
onto the Clara Barton Parkway (CBP)
heading west towards Great Falls/Carderock.
The CBP will dead-end onto MacArthur Blvd.
The first stop sign will be Brickyard
Road. Continue straight, remain on
MacArthur Blvd. turning left at its
intersection with Falls Road and continue
to the end of the road. There is an
entrance fee to enter the main Great Falls
parking lot. |

Take Falls
Rd (Rte. 189) south until it dead-ends on
MacArthur Blvd. Turn right at the stop
sign continue to the end of the road.

There are several ways
to reach Great Falls Park, MD from the
District:
-You can take MacArthur Blvd or the
Clara Barton Parkway out of the city and
then follow the directions above from 495.
- Alternatively, take Massachusetts Ave.
or River Rd. out of the city to Goldsboro
Rd. Turning left on Goldsboro will bring
you to MacArthur Blvd. From there follow
the directions above from 495. |
